Bailee's Surgery.

Well Bailee had to get surgery 2 days after Christmas. She had a herniated diaphram and ambelical hernia. They were able to do it laprascopically(?) so that was nice to cut down on recovery time.

This is her playing before they gave her the GOOD medicine to relax her. She did NOT want to put on the stylish jammies.
We had a newborn all day Tuesday after her surgery. She would wake for maybe 30 minutes then just fall back to sleep. Needless to say she was up all night.

This is the first breakfast was able to eat and nothing like breakfast in bed!! And room service to top it off.

She is doing really well and back to her normal self. She loves to show off her tummy to people.

Happy Birthday!

Well it has almost been a whole month since her birthday, I am just a slacker! I am also a slacker at taking pictures so I will have to get some from Shannon to post them.

Brynadee really wanted to go to the beach for her birthday party so we had it all planned and she was so excited.....but of course it had to be an overcast yucky day. So we ended up having it at my in-laws and the kids had a blast. We got the blow-up jumper out and they swam in the pool. Brynadee picked Hello Kitty for her theme and she is still in love with hello kitty EVERYTHING!!! Thank you to all those who came and for all the gifts.

On the fourth of July, after the long, hot parade. We decided we were going to do a slip-n-slide at me parents house. It was so much fun and kids could do it all day long(as long as their little legs could make it up the hill).

Anniversary.

Well it was our 4 year anniversary yesterday(June 1st). We didn't do a whole lot on the actual day....just made him his favorite (or close to) dinner(chicken fried steak). Then we went out for some ice cream.
Last weekend Weston and I went to Las Vegas to celebrate. We were going to plan a trip on our 5 year, but Weston said that I would either be pregnant or have a baby and not be willing to leave it, so we jumped on the opportunity. We walked our little legs right off. We went to Lion King....SO COOL....and Chris Angel....NOT SO COOL. We had a good time just relaxing. I was ready to come home and see the girlies after 4 days that is for sure. I did pretty good though considering I have only left them overnight.
Weston thanks for everything you do for me and girls!! We love you.
I took my camera but we didn't even take a single picture, my reasoning was because we will be back there in February on our way to Disneyland so I would rather have pictures with the girls?!?!

Well we officially have a 1year old!! Bailee turned one yesterday on the 29th and she had so much fun. Thank you everyone for coming and all the gifts. She got SPOILED!!

A few weekends ago we went to Disney on Ice....Brynadee LOVED it. It will for sure become an annual event in the Deets house. It was so much fun just watching Brynadee's facial expressions.

This is about as much fun a Bailee had. It lasted the WHOLE time!!

The girls got to see santa AGAIN. Brynadee was so excited, I don't know that she really gets the whole santa thing but she really wants him to bring her a dollhouse!!! She will walk around the house saying "santa dollhouse" all day long.

On Thursday we went to Weston's work for a fun little trick or treat party and a little boy had a scary mask on and would talk to Brynadee in a scary voice....so she is automatically scared of anything with mask on. Well we are trick or treating on Saturday night and Brynadee is at a house and gets her candy but will NOT come down the stairs, then she starts screaming MOMMY, come to find out there was a kid with a mask headed up to the door so Weston had to go get and we had to steer clear of any masked trick or treaters the rest of the night.

I just had to show the cute cake Brynadee made for me for my birthday. Shannon came and picked Brynadee up and took her to the store to pick out whatever she wanted to put on it. ( I was surprised that it wasn't princess stuff). She helped make the cake, then she helped Weston frost it....some for the cake, some for her....and so on. She had the most fun putting the presents and hearts on, she would even get a little extra frosting on her fingers. It was really fun to watch her be so excited about making. Thank you everyone for the gifts!!

Well it is official. Bailee has her first tooth. I didn't even know she was teething but it just poked right out. Hopefully she will teeth this good on all the rest!

Well my little baby turned 2 on thursday. She is such a BIG girl now, I think she seems more grown up since she has a little sister but I still can't believe she is already 2.

I just had to throw this picture in. Her Grandma Deets gave her an outfit with these sunglasses and she thinks she is pretty neat stuff.

This was at breakfast on thursday. I didn't know how well she would do with blowing out her candles so I had her practice with her pancakes.( her favorite thing to eat)

She picked out her cake and when we got it out she thought that was her present. We would ask her what she was getting and she would say tinkerbell.

To explain the next few pictures, the boys go down to the river and go "red-neck knee boarding". To explain what it is....they take a four wheeler, ski rope, knee rope, and build a ramp. The four wheeler is on the bank and pulls them up and down the river and then they hit the ramp. They think it is the BEST thing ever.

Well to start out Bailee is 3 months old!! Crazy! She is the best and happiest baby ever! She is getting so fun and more alert.

We were up at the lake fishing and Weston got hot and Chloe's hat fell in the lake so he decided to keep dunking it and wearing it.

We went up to the cabin to go camping and went to the Fish Hatchery. Brynadee LOVES fish.

I had a great Mother's day. We have been talking about getting a new oven, BUT it wasn't a necessity right now so we stopped looking at them. Well Friday Weston left with his parents to go to the store and comes back with an oven. He couldn't keep it a secret any longer. Thanks honey I love it.....maybe I can quit burning stuff....MAYBE.

Well if one more sickness or anything goes wrong I might go CRAZY!!!! In like February Weston got phenomia(?) and was sick for two weeks, he luckily got rid of that just in time for Bailee to get here, then last week Brynadee had the flu and still having blow-outs.
On Saturday Weston and I were on a motorcycle ride and he thought he got bit or stung by something, but we couldn't find any kind of bug.....well his leg just kept getting bigger and bigger so while we were out at my parents for dinner and he was showing everyone and by this time it was huge, red and on fire....so my family convinced me to make Weston go to the Emergency Room and come to find out he never got bit by anything, he has what is called mersa(?) and it just this bacteria that we all carry, but his body just reacted to it...so for everyone that understand medical crap he has a staff infection in his leg. It was too far along that he can't just take an oral antibiotic, instead he gets to go in for a couple of days and every 12 hours he has to get IV antibiotics.......FUN FUN!!!!!

Bailey is one month old today(on Grandma Deet's birthday) It is crazy how fast the time flies!!!! I don't remember it going this fast when Brynadee was this small, but i'm sure it did. Bailey is such a good baby, we were worried that we were going to have a crier since Brynadee was such a good baby too. We got lucky again. She is only waking up one time in the night(I can't complain, but wished she were sleeping through the night). Brynadee slept through the night at 6 weeks, so that will hopefully be the magic number again, but Bailey isn't nearly as chubby as Brynadee was at this age. When she was born I thought she looked just like Brynadee did, but now she is just her own little person, we don't really know who she looks like?!?!

This past weekend we went out to Salt Lake for a baby shower. Weston's cousin was having a baby shower so we went out to let everyone(mostly Great Grandma) see and meet Bailee for the first time. I was just going to ride out with Shannon and Mindy, but I convinced Weston to come. During the shower he took Brynadee to cabelas and i'm sure had a blast. When he got back we took pictures of them with Great Grandma Rosalie.

After the shower we took Brynadee to the Aquarium and she likes it even better than last time. Her favorite part by far is the new penguin exhibit. Later that night Weston took her swimming at the hotel and she couldn't get enough. She is going to be a water LOVER like her dad.

We do a egg hunt at my parents, and because of the great weather this weekend we ended up doing it inside(the kids didn't really care, they were just happy to be getting candy). Bailee FINALLY came at 9:16 P.M. Monday . She weighed in at 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20 inches long. She is a quiet little thing that is for sure....but i'm not complaining.

Well today is the big DAY!!! I can't believe it is here. I was a complete wreck last night, not because I am scared or nervous, but yes because Chubbs won't be my only little chubbs. Weird I know. I had to go in and just watch her sleep last night. It is weird to think about our little family any different, but I'm sure after Bailee is here it will be weird then to think we didn't have her?!?! Well I guess wish me luck in a faster delivery than Brynadee's and I will keep you posted.....I am just wasting time this morning because I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep(imagine that).

Well all of my fluids are magically back down in the normal range. The 29th can't come soon enough!!! Only 17 more days to go......YAHOO!!! I'm just glad I havn't gotten to the really really uncomfortable stage yet.
Hopefully our shed will get done today then we can clear out the nursery and actually have somewhere for the baby to sleep. Once that happens I will REALLY be ready.

Update on Bailee.

So two weeks ago at my appointment I was suppose to get an ultrasound(just to check the heart...there is nothing wrong, but they thought something was wrong with Brynadee's heart so he was wanting to double check). Anyway, so come to find out I had almost too much amniotic fluid....normal amounts are between 5-25 and I had 23...well not a big deal right.
Well I went back this week for my appointment and had to get another ultrasound to check the fluid AND of course it couldn't have just stayed the same. My fluid levels are now at 30. So of course they can't figure out why I have so much fluid because everything with baby is just fine.
So I now have to go and get stress tested every week and an utlrasound at every appointment. They told me it is okay though just look at all the weight I would loose when I had the baby because of the fluid, but it is really sad when some of your MATERNITY shirts don't even cover your belly because it is soo BIG!!! But I guess I can't complain Bailee is healthy as a horse!! She is scheduled to come on March 29th!! 5 weeks and 3 days to go, but who is counting!

Roseola.

So all last week Brynadee was a BEAR!!!!!! I thought she was just getting her eye teeth and being really mean and moody, people say they are the worst. She also had a little bit of a fever all week.
All weekend we were around my whole family, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc....so she woke up yesterday with little red dots all over her tummy and back. So my first thought is that she is getting chicken pox!!! Well come to find out she has roseola. There is nothing you can do for it, just make Brynadee as comfortable as possible.
We exposed all of the little kids to it. SORRY!!! I guess they are contagious before they even have any symptoms. She at least isn't as cranky, we just have to stay in the house, not to expose her to anyone else.

Well it all started because my husband and my sister's husband had to go to scout camp....So we went to my mom's house so Dax and Brynadee could play(because they play sooo good together.) They had ripped the play to pieces and were being so good, when I hear Brynadee whining so I go downstairs to find Dax holding my shears CUTTING Brynadee's hair.....I LOST IT!!! He had cut all over her head then cut her ponytail off and to make it all better he cut all the hairs in the ponytail. So needless to say I have a little girl with a little boy haircut. There are some places on the top of her head that are to the scalp. It will be interesting to see how creative I can become with making her look like a girl. Like my dad said...."You won't even know this happened in 6 months", but I think it will take a little longer than that.

So we decided to get Brynadee into a big girl bed before the new baby gets here......WELL lets just say the first night was ROUGH!!! We put her to bed and she just kept coming into our room, so we would take her back and she would just crawl right back out of bed...well this went on until midnight, then she finally gave in, BUT she came right back into our room at 4:30 so Weston went to bed with her and slept in her bed until 7.

So the next night we just locked her in her room and this how we found her after she was done crying her eyes out.

Last night was our ward party, and this is the first year that Brynadee has sat on Santa's lap.... She loved him and was super excited right up until Weston put her on his lap, and as you can tell from her face she didn't last long. At least she likes him but just wasn't quite sure about being that close and personal. Hopefully we will have better luck next time!

I had to throw this picture in....I was doing my hair this week and she came in to see what I doing and her potty is her favorite chair, so she had found a brochure weston got somewhere and came in to read!!! Like Daddy, like Daughter.
We went camping up at my grandpa's cabin this past weekend, and Brynadee had a BLAST in the snow. This isn't her first winter, but she didn't really play in it last year. Brynadee, Dax, and Daysen got pulled on sleds behind four-wheelers and they thought it was the best thing ever.

IT'S A GIRL!!!! So we went to our ultrasound yesterday and Weston thought that Brynadee should come....BAD idea!?! She balled the whole time because her mom couldn't hold her(it didn't help that we had to wake her up from her nap to go). She really needs to become more of a daddy's girl. We are super excited for Brynadee to have a little sister, but Weston says they are just going to fight, at least he knows what he is in for!!!

Well this past weekend was Weston's Grandmas 85th Birthday Party, so we went out a day early and went to Frightmares with his family. It was a lot of fun and not as crowded as I thought it would have been on UEA weekend.
The Birthday party was in the mountains in Logan and it was really pretty and a lot of fun to just catch up with his family. Brynadee and her little cousins had so much fun getting DIRTY!!!

My little girl turned 1 yesterday!! It was really fun, both families came and all the cousins were there and they all just wanted to go to the park they didn't care about the cake or anything else, including Brynadee.

After she got hold of her cake. She only got frosting, she never made it to the cake.During the demolition!!

So for two weeks straight we did swim lessons for Weston's sake. If it would have been up to me I would have waited a year, but Weston insisted she LOVE the water and what better way than swim lessons. She didn't really need the swim lessons because she already loves the water, but oh well.

Well needless to say it was the longest two weeks!! They were right during nap time so she was good most of the time, but there were a few times she had it and just wanted to go to sleep. She wouldn't even make it home before she was zonked.....here are some pictures Grandma Deets came and took of her Loving swimming.

2 Whole Years!!!!

Well I'm a little behind but Monday was our 2 year anniversary. Oh and let me tell you it has gone by so fast. It is crazy to think we have only been married 2 years and have a little 9 month old!!! CRAZY?!? But worth it.

Well Monday morning we headed out to the city and shopped it up!! Yeah. It was an overdue shopping trip.(those are the worst because then you go crazy and think you need to get everything because you may not be back out to go shopping anytime soon.) We ate some good food, and just shopped some more. Then that night we went swimming at our hotel and brynadee had so much fun.....UNTIL.......We were getting her ready for bed and she had just gotten of the bath tub and her dad was grabbing something for me and left her on the bed(BIG NO NO) and she fell off right onto her head. She scrame for a solid 15 minutes, but she slept great.

Tuesday morning we got up and went to The Living Planet Aquarium and Bryandee loved it. She loved all the fish and just seeing all sorts of new things. After that we headed up to the zoo. Well needless to say she didn't so good here. She was ready for a nap, it was hot, and all of the animals were sleeping so you had to search to even see them so I think the only animals she saw were the camels, gorillas, monkeys, and bears. So pretty much I guess the zoo was really for Weston and I.

Overall it was a really good anniversary!! Thanks Babe for all you do for me and chubba.

On Saturday we went up to the lake with everyone else of course, and it was another first for Brynadee. She loves when we blow in her face or when it is really windy. It isn't going to be easy to teach her how to hold her breath and go under the water because you can't just blow in her face and have her hold her breath.

She is helping grandpa drive the boat!

She is just loving life. She is just like her dad and LOVES water. She was the only brave one that got in the lake. Well put her feet in, but she loved it she didn't even care that it was freezing.

For Memorial Weekend Weston's brother, Scott, and his family came to visit from St. George. We were hopefully going to do a little four-wheeling and BBQing outside and just having a good weekend. We still had a good weekend but it was just a bummer that we had to stay inside the whole time and watch it rain. We did a family photo, that will be current for about 3 more months and played a lot of card games. The kids got to play together and it was a pretty good weekend considering the weather.

WOW how the time flies!! Our little girl is already 9 months old. I can't image life without her, she is so fun and has quite the little attitude.

So for two weeks starting last friday night Weston is on night schedule for the outage at work.(power plant) He leaves at 6 P.M. and gets home at 8 A.M. then drops everything and crawls(literally) into bed. Then all day I have to try and keep Brynadee quiet. That is a joke.
He wakes up anywhere from 3-4 eats, plays with brynadee for a minute then starts all over. I really am SO GRATEFUL for Weston working and supporting us so I can stay home with Brynadee, but this sucks!!! Thank goodness it is for only 2 weeks!!!

Well it has been a while since I have blogged and a lot of firsts have happened for Brynadee!!

First time jumping on the tramp with Dad, and LOVED it!!

Her thing is waving to everyone and clapping all the time.

She loves when Dad is home on the weekends and gives her her baths!! She thinks they are much funner than moms.

Brynadee has started to scoot and roll around, but she only goes backward so then the runs into things and gets really mad after a while because she can't go anywhere anymore. She is starting to get quite the little personality!!!

This past weekend we went up to Logan for one of Weston's mission companions wedding reception so we went up to Lewiston to visit his Grandma and Aunt. It was a long day for Brynadee by the time we got up to his Grandmas house and she had fallen asleep right before we got there, so we had to wake her up and she was a bear the whole time we were there. I felt so bad she wouldn't go to anyone. Then we ran back through Logan to the reception and almost didn't make it in time, it was from 2-4 and we rolled up at 3:45. Whoops!!! After the reception we drove back to Salt Lake and went to a VERY good Jazz Game with my brother and sister-in-law. (I don't have pictures because they are on my sister-in-laws camera) Brynadee was so much better at this game than the last one. It was an early game so that make it alot better. She took a nap during the game and woke just in time for exciting end of the game and over time. It was a nice short trip to get away and eat GOOD food!!

Well Brynadee finally got her first tooth and man she has been a bear!!! I wished she would just get all her teeth at the same time, I don't know if I can take her being so mean all the time. She hasn't been sleeping well either and that is killing me!! I don't know what I would have done if she didn't sleep through the night. She slept through the night when she was 6 weeks old and I don't know how moms do it when their kids don't sleep!! If anyone has any good ideas for teething just let me know.

Brynadee's First Jazz Game!!

We took Brynadee to her first Jazz Game and I felt really guilty because it was the late game, but I wasn't ready to leave her over night with someone. So we thought she would be the only baby there, but I was determined to find another one so I wouldn't feel sooo guilty. Well she was one of five babies that I saw. Even though it was a late game she LOVED it. The whole first half she just watched and wouldn't move a muscle, and she did really well until like 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter. The next two days she was so tired and slept in really well....needless to say Weston said we were leaving her home the next time we go.

Brynadee had here first sucker tonight and she absolutely loved it!!! She is definitely going to be addicted to sugar. She was about a week old when she tasted her first candy/sugar, and she has loved it since.

So you can most likely tell I am new to this. Weston has wanted me to get a blog for his family in Logan and just kept putting it off. He kept bugging me so I finally sat down and put one together, but it has taken me two days to figure everything out. hopefully they will get better!! Sorry.
